Registration Terms & Conditions

Introduction

Thank you for registering for the Market Systems Symposium (“MSS”). Regardless of whether your registration is submitted by you or your proxy / organization, the following Registration Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to you and your participation in MSS, both in-person and online. “Participant” for purposes of these Terms will include all individuals registered for MSS.

By registering for MSS, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. These Terms include and incorporate by reference the Market Systems Symposium Privacy Policy.

The Market Systems Symposium is organized by the Vikāra Institute, which reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access to MSS to any entity or individual.

Registration Deadlines Payment

  • Payment for registration fees are due by the registration deadlines, as indicated on the relevant MSS pages. 

  • Payments not received by the deadline will be automatically upgraded to the next registration tier (with corresponding fee increase).

  • Extensions will not be granted. 

Cancellation Policy​

  • Organizers will not be responsible for providing refunds for non participation or any other reason.

  • Registration prices do not include access to the MSS pre and post events, including, but not limited to the Pre-Training and/or Study Tour. 

  • In-person registration to MSS is a prerequisite to participate in the MSS pre and post events, such as the Pre-Training and/or Study Tour. 

General Terms

  • Registration is for one per person only and cannot be shared.

  • All speakers must register for the full Symposium.

  • It is at the sole discretion and responsibility of each Partner to make use of any of the Partner benefits. No retroactive processing will be permitted. 

  • Organizers cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of information provided by Partners or information published on the platform or any of the Symposium digital or printed materials.

  • Organizers cannot be held liable if MSS needs to be postponed or cancelled for any reason.

  • Organizers will not be responsible for providing refunds for non participation or any other reason.

  • Market Systems Symposium product payments are all payable to EcoVentures International, Inc. (DBA Vikāra Institute).

Substitution Policy

Substitutions are allowed for registered attendees who are unable to attend MSS. Written notice for substitutions must be submitted by no later than 14 business days prior to the start of the event date to Suzanne Brennan, and will be subject to the same registration fee as the original attendee.

Please Note:

  • All dates and deadlines are subject to change. Please refer to the MSS website for the latest information.

  • We encourage all attendees to register early to secure their spot and take advantage of Early Bird discounts.

  • MSS is often hosted during the peak season in South Africa, accommodations are limited. Vikara Institute cannot be held liable for limited hotel availability. To secure your preferred accommodation, we recommend booking yours as soon as possible. Visit the MSS website for suggested hotels offering discounted rates for MSS attendees.
