MSS2024 Registration Terms & Conditions

Introduction

Thank you for registering for the Market Systems Symposium 2024 (“MSS2024”). Regardless of whether your registration is submitted by you or your proxy / organization, the following Registration Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to you and your participation in MSS2024, both in-person and online. “Participant” for purposes of these Terms will include all individuals registered for MSS2024.

By registering for MSS2024, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. These Terms include and incorporate by reference the Market Systems Symposium Privacy Policy.

The Market Systems Symposium is organized by the Vikāra Institute, which reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access to MSS2024 to any entity or individual.

Registration Deadlines

Early Bird Registration: Available until June 30, 2024

Standard Registration: July 1, 2024 - September 30, 2024

Last Chance Registration: October 1, 2024 - October 15, 2024 


Payment

  • Payment for registration fees are due by the registration deadlines, as indicated above. 

  • Payments not received by the deadline will be automatically upgraded to the next registration tier (with corresponding fee increase) as reflected above.

  • Extensions will not be granted. 

Cancellation Policy

  • In-person registrants may convert their registration to online until September 30th, 2024 with a $50 processing fee.

  • Online registrants may convert their registration to in-person until October 14th, 2024 with no penalty, but will be responsible for any price difference based on the prevailing registration tier at the time of conversion.

  • Organizers will not be responsible for providing refunds for non participation or any other reason.

  • Registration prices do not include access to the MSS2024 pre and post events, including, but not limited to the Pre-Training and/or Study Tour. 

  • In-person registration to MSS2024 is a prerequisite to participate in the MSS2024 pre and post events, such as the Pre-Training and/or Study Tour. 

General Terms

  • Registration is for one per person only and cannot be shared.

  • All speakers must register for the full Symposium.

  • It is at the sole discretion and responsibility of each Partner to make use of any of the Partner benefits. No retroactive processing will be permitted. 

  • Organizers cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of information provided by Partners or information published on the platform or any of the Symposium digital or printed materials.

  • Organizers cannot be held liable if MSS2024 needs to be postponed or cancelled for any reason.

  • Organizers will not be responsible for providing refunds for non participation or any other reason.

  • Market Systems Symposium 2024 product payments are all payable to EcoVentures International, Inc. (DBA Vikāra Institute).

Substitution Policy

Substitutions are allowed for registered attendees who are unable to attend MSS2024. Written notice for substitutions must be submitted by no later than September 30th, 2024 to Suzanne Brennan, and will be subject to the same registration fee as the original attendee.

Please Note:

  • All dates and deadlines are subject to change. Please refer to the MSS2024 website for the latest information.

  • We encourage all attendees to register early to secure their spot and take advantage of Early Bird discounts.

  • As October is the peak season in Cape Town, accommodations are limited. Vikara Institute cannot be held liable for limited hotel availability. To secure your preferred accommodation, we recommend booking yours as soon as possible. Visit the MSS2024 website for suggested hotels offering discounted rates for MSS2024 attendees.
