International Program Manager
Vikāra Institute is seeking an International Program Manager with diverse international experience to join our global team of systems thinkers.
Work Location: Remote, USA or any location
Expected Travel: Up to 25%
Type of Contract: Full-time, ongoing
Language Requirement: English (French, Spanish, or others are desired)
About the Role:

Provide programming and operational support to the suite of work streams within the Vikāra Institute portfolio.

Contribute to immediate and long-term opportunities for growth, including the acquisition of new business development opportunities. Leading and feeding into the bid process with input into the writing, costing, and relationship building.

Manage contracts of various sizes, including team communication, writing and editing of learning products, team leadership, finance/budget management, and donor communications and reporting.

Contribute to operational logistics and training support for a variety of events hosted by Vikāra Institute, including event design and management, training, and presentation support.
About You (Core Competencies):

Experience living, working, and contributing within diverse cultures, ideally in a developing country context.

Experience backstopping or providing programming management to USAID programs; other donors is an advantage.

Ability to adapt and evolve your thinking in line with the organizational values.

Self-starter who can work asynchronously with clients and a global team, ability to work remotely.

Demonstrable experience in training and facilitating.

Experience managing multiple complex work streams in a time-sensitive environment.

Flexibility to travel to various locations worldwide, multiple passports is a plus.
Additional experience:

Track record in leading and winning proposals or bids for work in a competitive context.

A proven ability to build rapport within a diverse range of clients and develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a leadership level.

Experience in private sector development, business development, and implementation in an international organization setting.

Ability to work based in the USA is a plus.

Ability to communicate and write efficiently in English. French/Spanish is an added advantage.

Tertiary qualifications in related fields preferred.
